Boston University’s Center for Computing and Data Sciences at 19 stories and 346,000 square feet is the first building in the city of Boston to operate 100% independent of fossil fuels. With no gas line connection to the building, 31 Rygan geothermal wells of 1,500ft. provide the buildings basis of heating and cooling. It is currently the deepest geothermal project of its kind in North America.
